But a Tesla will still take it in a 0-60 race, all while emitting zero CO2 and saving the planet.
It would be close with the Tesla Performance model listed at a 4.2 sec quarter mile and tops out at 130mph and the Shelby Mustang at 4.1 sec. topping out at 200mph. [Jacks Mustang has been modified from stock 662hp to 710hp remember] Of course you need to spend about a 100 thousand for that model Tesla while the Shelby Mustang rings in at around 69 thousand. That being said there are a few cars that can top the Mustang including I think Chevys souped up Camaro. Now if I wanted to cheat I would just insist that both cars begin at the same place then drive 260 miles and instantly begin the drag race from that spot. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: But a Tesla will still take it in a 0-60 race, all while emitting zero CO2 and saving the planet. Oops, did I just cross over into that other raging debate? :) |
