Now that my children are gone I rescue English Bulldogs.  People buy these dogs thinking that they are going to breed them and make money.  After they find all the problems that come with them they get rid of them. They also have to have a "C" Section. When I adopted Ellie, she was abused.  She only weighed 30 lbs and had five C sections.  She was eight when I adopted her.  She became Queen at our house until she passed.   I love this breed because they love children.  Plus, we live on a canal and can not have a fence.  As I am sure you know Bulldogs for the most part are lazy apartment dogs.
