a human being has not been killed or injured due to the gesse crossings and the way people stop for the damn geese! And just how do you foresee that happening?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The people who drive on a regular basis around the souyh gate of Ocean Pines are more lucky a human being has not been killed or injured due to the gesse crossings and the way people stop for the damn geese! The memorial etc. and hoopla for a goose is nuts in my mind! How would you have felt if a human was hurt due to this goose crossing the road?
