Joe, now that a precedent has been established what's to stop someone (in an extreme case) from burying their "beloved" horse at the south gate pond? I fear the GM has opened Pandora's Box, your opinion?
This whole animal rights thing where some believe animals should be granted the same rights as humans is no more than quicksand. However, I believe Bob Thompson made a major mistake, caving to a group of people that probably includes some of those who threatened board members with physical harm a year or so ago. In short -- this has to be one of the most stupid decisions Thompson has ever made as GM. |
