Bob, I know what he may have been trying to say. But he doesn't seem to want to say it because, as any policeman can tell you, if you run into the back of me because I stopped for a goose, a squirrel, a turtle or whatever, it is your fault, not mine and not the critters. Folks with slow reflexes and/or poor brakes should not follow others so close.
I know all to well how other drivers can injure or kill humans, but I still wonder how a goose can. Perhaps Jason will someday enlighten us. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think Bill he's trying to say that if someone stops abruptly to allow a goose or duck to cross the road and the person in a car behind doesn't react in time their could be a fender bender causing someone in either car to be injured. A lot of our residents have a few summers on their odometer so their once cat like reflexes might be a tad slower. |
