A further update: Ryan has just finished week 8 of a tough firefighter course and was "badged" last week in a celebration with the entire fire company. His class of four (of 30 applicants) is the first class held by the Goose Creek SC fire department. And he still fishes.
Congrats to Ryan. We could use him in the OPVFD. A fishing lake right across from the fire station. It doesn't get any better than that!. |
