Well it seems that his probie period might be extended. He passed the city and state EMT written test but failed the Federal test. He has to be a qualified EMT to qualify for full fireman status. He will pay $100 and take it again in two weeks.
Here's the question(s) he had problems with. They all referred to sickle cell anemia. Can anyone tell me what an Emergency Medical Technician needs to know about an inherited blood cell irregularity? It must be important. Of the 120 or so questions...over 30 related to that condition. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ryan will be ending the fire department one year probationary period at the end of this month. He loves the job and still fishes Good for Ryan. A good example for other kids. |
