No one has mentioned an important reason that neither tennis nor pickleball players get too excited about playing at S&R Club regardless of conditions. That is that part of the game is "social" and the social center for racquet sports is at Manklin.
Yes, those social aspects are so important the board voted to do about $100,000 to repair tennis courts at the S&R Club.
