I just don't understand why this happens so often ie deferred maintenance or improper installation. Bridges, pools, beach club, club house, playgrounds and the list goes on! I guess their is no glory in fixing or repairing! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Nate: "the playground is in disrepair after only 10 years that is again a very poor reflection on maintenance" Correct and unfortunately only one example. I am in possession of the report conducted by Playground Guardian for Ocean Pines Association, Inc. and dated 7/22/2014. The report noted 18 defective items. Every single item stated "Needs Maintenance" at least once. Other problems were four entrapment issues which resulted from a change in codes and are, according to my source, covered by a lifetime warranty, and the replacement of the upright posts. This report is almost two years old and the manufacturer has not provided the warranty replacement parts, and I doubt they have even been contacted, and the posts have not replaced. "a very poor reflection on maintenance" is a understatement if there ever was one. Marty |
