For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Subordinates should take the action their superior tells them to take or, in the absence of such direction, the action that is in the best interest of obtaining a positive outcome. I really do love the abstract in the latter option. So, had you been the Facilities Manager and knew the playground equipment required maintenance, and knew the GM was aware of the same information, what would you have done absent any specific direction from the GM? |
