I spoke with Tom Terry immediately after the meeting as I wanted to address his comment that bringing up a change to the board regarding M-06 without consulting the Elections committee was "inappropriate" according to him.  I told him in no uncertain terms that as committee chair I bring recommendations to the board for consideration.  Its up to the board to either accept the recommendation and move forward with the process or refer the recommendation back to committee for further evaluation.  Suggesting that I was "inappropriate" in this approach is categorically incorrect and an attack on my integrity.

Although, to his credit he and the other board members did vote to table the motions and have my committee and the Elections committee review the language and suggest changes, which is an acceptable approach.
