The words "placed on OPA property" might be difficult to argue, however. The signs were "placed"on a vehicle which probably did not stay there for any length of time.
OK. So how about a sign that is placed on some sort of a stand and then the stand is placed on OPA property. Why would a vehicle be viewed as differently than any other device placed on OPA property and then have a sign attached. Could I attach some signs to a bicycle and then leave the bike at OPA in front of the Community Hall or over at the Yacht Club? Let's stop debating how many angels can land on the head of a pin. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: .No political signs, displays, or literature may be placed on or in any property....... owned by or under control of the Association." Slobodan Yes, that photo did look like a DISPLAY. I don't think that looked like something that could be driven around easily. It was quite "in your face." The words "placed on OPA property" might be difficult to argue, however. The signs were "placed"on a vehicle which probably did not stay there for any length of time. The political sign issue is tricky. You probably get more value out of a sign that "gets around", than one that just sits on a property ...unless the property is in a spot that gets a lot of traffic. Your sign here on The Forum gets LOTS of views!! Nancy |
