It isn't as bad as the one on Bramblewood. It was rented until about a year and a half ago. But I understand it has no heat or A/C. The last renter heated the house with electric plug in heaters. Last year someone mowed the lawn but up to this point this year no one has cut the lawn.
The address would be 21 Offshore Lane. There is indeed a notice from a bank but I was sure I also saw one posted by OPA. OPA notices are always posted with duct tape as opposed to bank notices which are usually scotch tape. This property is unique in the fact that the house has an attached garage and it also has a detached garage behind the residence that was used as a cabinet building shop. I believe the original owners are now deceased. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The home next door to me on Offshore Lane looks better than this one but, apparently according to the notice on the door, hasn't paid HOA fees for ten years. How does it get that far without action? I don't think OPA places any notices on homes that have not paid assessments. What you see is probably from a bank. What is the street address of the home? If assessments have not been paid it is likely OPA has filed a lien. Very generally, If the property has value above any mortgage owed, then OPA will get the assessments plus 20% interest if th place is ever sold. What is the condition of the property? Does it look presentable? |
