How old was the original YC before they demolished it? 40 years? I know,it's yesterday's "news" & what's done is done. Jason
Hi Jason, Look at all that beautiful shade up and downstairs! Why in the world would they not keep the same configuration of the building, and made it just a bit larger? That very sad man knew he was doing a very bad thing. The Tiki Bar could have been enlarged and stayed on the side that was sheltered from the sun in the afternoon and early evenings. Now it is boiling out there. The Mumford's Landing Yacht and Tennis Club opened on May 24th, 1975. Forty-one years is not very old for a building. In Europe, many buildings are 300 years old and they are made of wood. My house is almost 81 years old. You are a "restaurant person". Can you explain to me why Tall Tables are necessary? I have always hated sitting on tall stools and avoid them when at all possible. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Never made sense to me,that's why it got my "no" vote to begin with. I've certainly been wrong as much as I've been right,but throwing that much $ into something that has never made any $ is still a head-scratcher to me. Too bad it's almost 6M dollars of "news" & counting....I will say that I am optimistic in the new OP leadership so far. Optimistic,yet realistic. |
