You might remember that I asked Slobodan repeatedly how wide and deep he intended his proposed audit would go because that would determine the cost. I said that information should have been in his proposed motion. I don't think I ever got an answer. | ||||||

However, many forensic accountants also perform internal control assessments. We evaluate accounting processes and recommend changes so that honest errors and dishonest acts are highly likely to be identified in the normal course of operations Looks like she is talking about the "deep dive" currently underway as mentioned by Supik. FWIW, Another personal source tells me a forensic audit of the YC could probably be done for $20K to $40k. Not that much when viewed in terms of the losses. |
