Assume that at the rear end of properties at once upon a time there was also some sort of ditch that would allow water to drain to the previously mentioned deep ditch two houses away.

Since there is no provision for rain water to flow to the deep ditch, it runs onto properties, as others said, the rear and side of the property becomes a pool.

Also agree with the comment, didn't buy here to experience poor drainage.

It would great if something were done to allow rain water instead of going on peoples property to flow to the deep ditch.
