All those things you mentioned and others are in the governing docs How many OP owners and buyers do you think have read the docs |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Do you think real estate and settlement companies doing business in OP for decades needs his instruction. Randy, Maybe not instruction, but due to the turnover of real estate agents, OPA should have periodic seminars to inform those who are new to the industry local trends that cause problems for the HOA. For example, inform perspective buyers that there are rules and regulations that cannot be ignored - you just can't take down trees or build a deck/shed without prior approval and you must shield your garbage cans from view. Do you think internet companies will come to OP to be educated nuMB Of course not, but typically a local agent lists the house and that agent must pass the rules on to those companies doing remote real estate transactions. His personal revive is king like attitude I don't see it that way. Joe's article points out JB's faults for not taking care of business and he is being faulted for trying to take care of business. Which way is it? Have a great day, Randy. Hope to see you on an OPA committee where you can lend a hand to continue making OPA a premiere resort community. Tom |
