One of the best looking cars ever made, still looks great today 65 years later
One of my cars I regretted never having taken a photo of it. Mine was rescued by my Dad from a migrant labor camp but thanks to Andrea getting scraps from the purse factory at which she worked summers which allowed me to reupholster the door sides and my parents allowing me to work an extra week to pay for a paint job it ended up looking pretty good. [midnight blue with a white inset on the sides] Those of us who were "car guys" just fixed up our rides and I can't remember too many of my friends interested in taking pictures of them. Odd in retrospect. Of course the camera of the day was the Brownie which was not exactly the best for portability. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: One of the best looking cars ever made, still looks great today 65 years later Image below from Jack Barnes - Image Title: photos Image Info: The 1953 Studebaker was one of the most advanced styled cars of its day and seldom seen restored. This one similar to but not same car as owned by Jack Barnes in the 1960s. |
