I am not against culling the geese... I simply asked if any more viable solutions were available. If the Departments of Agriculture, Environment,etc. of Maryland had a more effective solution, I would hope the OP Board would have been advised of one. After all the ubiquitous goose population is not only in OP. Sometimes Forums similar to this one provide better options from interested and informed sources. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Karen, If I thought that, I wouldn't have responded to the post I'm sure your heart is in the right place but something needed to be done.. I'm sure the geese will repopulate OP fairly quickly and will have to be thinned again and again. My suggestion to you is to join the environmental committee or form a group to see if another solution would be possible in the future. Robert. |
