Hi Mark,
This is a very old photo of the property at 103 Sandyhook Rd. Not only did they have people living in that trailer, but there was more junk on the deck and in the yard than one could imagine. They even had a toilet sitting in the front yard. They did NOT have flowers growing in it. NOW the place is LOVELY!!! The yard is well kept, and the house has almost been rebuilt. It has been stained / or painted a nice color,has some stone on the front, and the porch has been replaced. Bill Rakow had public works come and haul all that junk away. He gave the owners plenty of warning, but they were such a sorry mess, that they did nothing. There are likely places somewhat like that in OP again that need to have the same treatment. There is plenty of affordable housing in Ocean Pines that should be fixed up and sold to young families. I think Bill Haas is doing a lot of good work on that. Nancy |
