You are correct... the BOD or the GM for that matter can fire anyone anytime and for any reason...,or no reason. It’s called “at will employment” and it’s what we do here. i worked all my life in “at will” environments and had no problem. If you keep your eye on the ball and do your job well the vast majority of employees will do well. i completely disagree with your final comment to Tom. IMHO, there is no need for any OPA employee to be chilled because you were fired. They should do their jobs to the best of their abilities. Jeff Knepper |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks Tom, It is unfortunate that in OPA politics is more important than performance. I tried very hard to support employees that needed help, assistance, support from HR. What happened to me should have a chilling effect on every employee at OPA...the Board can snap their fingers to remove any employee, at any time, for any reason. |
