A valid concern...what I have observed is that people only pay attention to the issuue "du jour". Good management does not occur over night...it requires a track record built over time. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Important that such attorney have experience with HOA matters, and also with local experience, and good reputation. The idea of "on retainer" meets your part timer criteria, without actual employment (& employee benefit) costs. Such plan works for a majority of businesses. Instead--How about adding a part time internal auditor to OP staff? Plenty of "dirt" for such an employee to now be "shoveling" Assurance that fixes get completed, and avoiding future backsliding.
