Not sure if a person having those two legal specialties could be tough to find?? ( HR and HOA administration) A law firm may have two individuals for such coverage.
The occupation of lawyers suffers from some problems of public perceptions. Could be related to their ability to argue both legal sides. In some nation's systems public prosecutors also take cases defending the accused. I'm thinking the UK may be that way. Confusing role reversals counter to america's customary roles. Then there's the Avenatti stereotype . . . A severely blemished reputation, affecting the profession. Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Interestingly, not a single candidate suggested OPA hire a full-time attorney employee, just as the county does. This individual could do legal and HR. Last year, OPA paid more for outsourced legal fees than the County pays its full-time County Attorney. |
