For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There can be a change of culture when the organization gets the word that some more double checking is going to be occurring. Helps to put both the individuals and supervision on their best behavior. Like seeing a police vehicle while you're driving --- the driving invariably improves. Ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure. Don't take this personally. Very common business practice to have internal auditors. Virtually every hotel has a night auditor, some have two or more. When a new auditor position is added, a good initial step is to double check areas where an employee has resigned. Some times that's a clue to uncovering foibles. Learning that an internal auditor is coming can prompt resignations. Tom |
