For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Summer of '18 I was drifting down near the #2 daymark. There was an Osprey nest on top, mommy was on the nest guarding the chick, daddy was out looking for lunch. A gull was hovering about 6 feet over the nest looking for a chance to grab a chick for lunch, daddy came home, dove on the gull from about 100 feet and the gull stayed for lunch....in fact he was lunch! |
