Feb 8: The Worcester County Commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved a $1.5 million state grant application to help improve drainage in Ocean Pines. The improvements would affect Sections 2 and 3, considered among the worst in the community.
Tom Good research to find this example. And displays very parallel circumstances. Thus raises GREAT questions. Here's some possible answers For example saying: -- Golly gee drainage deserves grants and economic support--its so very important. Followed by a comment: of course drainage is important BUT continuing employment thru PPP that's expendable (????). OMG Turn our backs on those people, those employees --amounts to telling them in a NJ accent-- for-ged-da-bout-it REALLY How stark and over-the-top would that be ?????????? Forgive the hypothetical, the fictional dialogue -- just making the point. Economic aid is helpful to OP, whether for drainage, or payroll protection. Thanks again Tom for that reference, that example of the drainage grant application. Tom Hemmick PS Seems that drainage grant application could become another victim of economic slowdown -- not yet a done deal |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom, Board Out of Control. Perhaps we should withdraw the State drainage grant "application" too, for not following protocols. Feb 8: The Worcester County Commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved a $1.5 million state grant application to help improve drainage in Ocean Pines. The improvements would affect Sections 2 and 3, considered among the worst in the community. The Association applied through the county because of restrictions that normally prevent homeowner associations from receiving certain types of state aid. I'm wondering that, if a grant is approved, will the Board vote to accept the $. Tom |
