| Certainly your prerogative. I am a supporter of his but I would feel the same about any board member I feel came under attack. I have to believe you have the best intentions with this forum. But I still have issue whether it’s YouTube, Facebook, or other media outlets that this had to play out that way. So possibly my beef is with the bylaws that allow this to happen. Moving from a small town that had a Mayor & Town council this NEVER would have been aired in public. Im well aware now that that’s not OP MO. But that needs to be examined so we can continue to have an equitable process when things go wrong amongst our leaders & those who report to them. Hope I made myself clear. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: But discussing personnel issues in a public forum is not something municipalities or HOA’s typically do. I don't know what you mean. We are discussing something that was posted by OPA to YouTube. It does not get any more public than that. And all in complete compliance with OPA governing documents. The discussion is public because OPA bylaws requires a public hearing to remove a director. I realize you are a strong supporter of Tom Janasek. I voted for Tom myself. However, I am extremely disappointed with actions he admits to doing and would not vote for him again. My particular disappointment with Tom is that he was warned one or more times months ago about his abusive public behavior toward Viola and refused to stop. |
