For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ever wonder why the older cars (up through the 50's) had hood ornaments? It was because a majority of two lane roads didn't have a centerline painted on them, If the driver kept the hood ornament lined up on the edge of the road he could be sure he was on his side.
