Control by government is something we should fear regardless of who is taking it - Republican or Democrat. This country has slowly surrendered control from the private sector to government since 1900. One thing has been proven over and over. Once government takes control, it never surrenders it and most always enlarges it. It's a natural law. Government builds additional bureaucracy with every new seizure of control. Its a cancer that never stops. Particularly galling is the creation of new government jobs in key congressional districts to ensure they never go away.
Many countries have government control as a central theme of their way of life and the citizens embrace it. Europe in particular. I suspect most readers of this forum recoil at such a notion. I fear their future generations will have to live with it. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "All of the above" is a wise option for energy production. And the marketplace will produce superior results, with the most efficient alternatives thriving the most. Over & above what bureaucrats are capable of. Whether they're US or UN bureaucrats, (like the UN climate conference.) Of course there's the hidden agenda of the Dems and the climate advocates: CONTROL. Thinking they're the elites who know it all. Including some feelings of Contempt for differing views, Contempt for the little people, Contempt for the Christian religion, etc. Fearing that the successes achieved by their of opponents will decrease their own CONTROL. |
