Does not surprise me.  I'm sure the real agenda is not discussed with the group or association members.

I think you'd be an asset based on what you do here.  You'd just have to be open to it.  Maybe that's a better way to put it.  

Thanks, but I doubt the organizer would agree.  Anyway, I am not much of a group joiner. If something comes along that really bothers me to a great extent, I find I can accomplish more on my own. One determined individual is frequently more effective than any group or committee.
