I believe every board does try to do what is best. Problem is the board is made up of seven unique individuals. As my friend Marty Clarke days. - iif all board members agreed on everything there would be no need for meetings.
Andrea, it is called politics. The majority of owners are unsubscribed from the nonsense of human political nature. Only the few, the proud can handle it.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tell me why it is so difficult for an OPA Board to actually be cohesive and try to do what they are essentially supposed to do? Work in harmony to maintain upkeep, modernize and make the OP residents relatively satisfied with what their annual fees should be legitimately used for? I mean Ocean Pines amenities are not exclusive to OP residents/homeowners? It's a la carte as far as I can tell. Anyone can 'join' for a slightly increased payment fee for activities. It's just not 'all that' IMO. Just get it together already....this stuff with Board issues just seems to be ongoing since forever. I'm unsubscribing to the nonsense. |
