| Jack, "foolish attempt"? I'd use the word "premeditated". There was more than enough discussion about it on this forum in the last two to three weeks to convince a couple of board members to question the early assertion by Perrone that future bulkhead repairs would be subject to this lowered limit. It clearly wasn't true simply because individual bulkhead properties are billed a larger association fee to account for future repairs. OPA is the receiver for this money until it's spent. It's not a referendum item. Ringsdorf's memo on the non capitalization of the bulkheads was sent in time to be a two by four across the forehead of those on the board who weren't paying attention. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If I wasn't sure what the right direction was for the referendum, reading the boards opinion or guidance on the subject convinced me to vote to limit their spending ability. Foolish attempt at influencing the results. |
