I noticed in the current issue of the Ocean Pines Progress that it contacted Mr. Perrone several days before the last board meeting about a possible correction by the board to its published misstatements regarding bulkhead expenditures over $1,000,000 being subject to referendum. Mr. Perrone said there would be no such correction to the board's published statement.

I wonder if there was a board vote on this specific issue of a correction. If so, I wonder which directors voted not to correct the misstatements.

If there was no vote on this issue, I wonder why not. One would think that a "transparent" board would want to be maintain its credibility with members. Otherwise, why be "transparent" but not credible?
