Section 23: OPA Elections Subject: Romersa Withdraws Withdrawal !!!! Msg# 1126023

You would have had my vote! But after my 3rd attempt, my house finally sold and I won’t have to endure the next election. I think it’s going to get very interesting, I received a letter with OPA as the return address that clearly was not from OPA. I‘m surprised nobody else has received it or mentioned it. But the person that sent it to me knew I would appreciate the irony as a former Finance Department employee during Ms. Diller’s previous witch hunt. The community needs to be concerned about this drive to control the election outcome and the board. I can’t imagine what is so important as a HOA that one feels the need to have this much power. I understand your decision but hope that their tactics don’t chase away all the other candidates. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thank you Joe. I appreciate that. The reason for making my decision was based on the chain of events that rolled out, no stone left unturned, up until a couple of weeks ago. Even more than I’ve described so far that I‘d rather not disclose at this time. I feel this was put together for some time on that platform as a conglomerate which includes possibility of some of our Directors showing favoritism. Follow the guideline election process for me though of course. What’s good for one, not for all. Rewriting our By-laws as we speak I guess. I decided I will not be subject to lower my standards, I’m finished with enduring such childish, nonsense behavior. I could accept if it was coming from another applicant now candidate, not sitting right to be all controlling by ones spouse. See one shouldn’t have tried to control someone they didn‘t know, me. I learned early on something just wasn’t right, kept asking myself what’s the dramatic push, what’s the gain? All for our community it was expressed?? I ask myself a lot if members of our HOA community are good to remain with everything in here as it stands of the issues and confusion we’ve all witnessed to date. I hope not as what I’ve witnessed on these board meetings is like children playing in a sandbox at best. Shameful display of some adults with what everyone has endured during the pandemic this past year. I found it astonishing when a Director appeared on that first get involved zoom conference, I would hope others agree. It was told he was invited on to answer any members questions or concerns within the community. OPA approved communication I think not. Protocol has been to simply email into the Directors with concerns has it not? Wouldn’t that be the better choice to follow our OPA guidelines? That same involved group was then switched later into Stu & Rick‘s running platform. Favoritism? Nah, not them. Who knows if my platform would have been responded well to, allowing one a fair shot of ones own platform is asking too much these days in here It appears. And Joe, I wasn’t pushed away….I decided on my own accord it wasn’t the best decision to continue at this time for me. |
