Thank you Beverly for your message to me, sorry to hear you are leaving and will not have the opportunity to vote in OP.  Sorry it took 3 attempts to sell your house, wishing you well on your move. I didn’t receive the letter your describing, received a different one a few weeks back off the get involved group. Someone else posted about receiving another letter on my Nextdoor post yesterday I titled “No longer seeking term in OP BOD election“ where I disclosed some things that took place while an applicant for this election while waiting to be named a candidate.…. perhaps the same letter received as you? From your comment, sounds like she’s on witch hunt #2. As my family is a funny bunch, we sometimes do nicknames to sum a situation up….I think I’ll name the two running team platform the “silent partners”. I hope the community is concerned and finally does “get involved”. The attempts that were made to me by one candidates spouse was an attempt to take out competition, still the question remains…for what gain? I don’t know the 3rd newcomer candidate, wishing him well in his platform however…Stay strong. Best wishes to you Beverly, stay well!! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You would have had my vote! But after my 3rd attempt, my house finally sold and I won’t have to endure the next election. I think it’s going to get very interesting, I received a letter with OPA as the return address that clearly was not from OPA. I‘m surprised nobody else has received it or mentioned it. But the person that sent it to me knew I would appreciate the irony as a former Finance Department employee during Ms. Diller’s previous witch hunt. The community needs to be concerned about this drive to control the election outcome and the board. I can’t imagine what is so important as a HOA that one feels the need to have this much power. I understand your decision but hope that their tactics don’t chase away all the other candidates. |
