Nate, you obviously are not listening. The board, so I am told by someone who understands this stuff, needs to write proper Guidelines to set public office campaign sign rules so they can go up no sooner than 30 days prior to an election and must come down within seven days after the election.
And THEN that Guideline needs to be enforced. The two board members were wrong in telling you OPA cannot regulate public office campaign signs. Absolutely wrong. That said, even if proper guidelines are set, OPA cannot regulate the size or number. |
