LBGT folks go to many different churches. My United Methodist Church has a very large Rainbow Banner hanging on it right now and for the month of June. I know I am an "old fogey",but I feel uncomfortable about having to give my name and pronoun in meetings of different kinds and in different places. I usually skip the pronoun. Gay people have existed since the beginning of time and are very often mistreated. We need to be KIND! Personally...the "Library Thing" seems to be " a bit much" to me! Nancy |
