And I'd be hoping a more affirmative reading list program like the one from "1776 Unites" would step up here in Worcester County, to provide some balance featuring minorities patriotism. "1776 Unites" is a project of the Woodson Center. Again, here's their site describing their "library" Click Here
Bob Woodson is a black Air Force veteran. He has served as an official of the notable black group, National Urban League in New York City, and the conservative group, the American Enterprise Institute. His Woodson Center in Washington DC has a long history of training and funding neighborhood leaders in faith-based and community organizations in 39 states. Plenty of patriotism from that Woodson Center and their "1776 Unites" group. |
