For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: This literature should neither be promoted nor diminished by the library just as other literature available to the community. With that idea in mind, what's your view of this language -- quoting from the Worcester County Library announcement: "The library has created a Teen Reading Challenge on Beanstack and will use the grant money to provide prizes." Are these cash prizes?? Or free copies of some of those books?? Or something else?? Isn't this promotional?? |
