Getting people involved in the community is great.
Forming what amounts to a small town political support group bolstering specific local political candidates, all the while masquerading as being specifically geared towards community involvement is…not so great. One might be tempted, if one were cynical, to call such behavior “deliberately misleading.” Am I to also understand that this “community involvement “ group does not allow people in unless they support specific board candidates? Perhaps I have misread. Is there a questionnaire one must fill out in order to be “allowed” into this “community involvement” group? Sounds kind of like a PAC pretending to be a non-profit charity. |
