> Had Ms. Rogers done a better job vetting the candidate, it is likely that most of the subsequent events would not have happened. I realize she made an unintentional mistake, but her mistake has only exacerbated community division and created more expense for the membership. > There were mistakes on both sides. But there's no excuse for the way the angry villagers contingent has reacted. Their behavior is far more divisive than any error on Rogers' part. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: And the director that did her job has been harassed, threatened, and worse. Had Ms. Rogers done a better job vetting the candidate, it is likely that most of the subsequent events would not have happened. I realize she made an unintentional mistake, but her mistake has only exacerbated community division and created more expense for the membership. The Board majority certainly contributed to this division through a series of ill-advised decisions. Her resignation should have occurred sooner because of the materiality of that mistake. I certainly don't condone any ill-treatment of her thereafter and appreciate her service to the community. |
