You agreed with my statement about incivility breeds incivility, but you're ascribing statements to me I did not make. Janasak is responsible for his own actions and words, but my experience tells me that people react differently when they feel aggrieved.
I would estimate that I have regretted about 50% of my director votes these 25 years. I voted for 4 of the 6 current directors (excluding the Brown appointment and including Rogers) and strongly regret 2 of those votes and mildly regret 2 of those votes. What's happening here is no different than the tone in Washington and throughout this country. Leaders, nationally and locally, continue to divide this country for political power and victories. I've lived in OP for almost 25 years. John Viola is the best GM we have ever had regarding financial results. I certainly am not in favor of Janasak or any director questioning Viola's results or undermining him. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: <.You wrote there's a tone at the top... incivility breeds incivility. How true; however blaming this on Perrone is a stretch. The Board is the top. How can we expect better of homeowners when our leadership is vulgar? I find it interesting that those that came to Janisak's November 2020 special hearing when he was being censored used foul language themselves in their public comments. How quickly we forget that Janasek and his supporters were actively against our GM and lied and said he threatened to quit. With the fantastic financials and the progress being made...do we really want a board trying to get rid of Viola and causing disfunction (and a resignation) in the ranks? |
