I agree. However, there is a point where the reaction to their perception of the grievance goes over the bounds of common decency. If that is not the case here, then I don’t know what is - especially given the background of attacks on Viola. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You agreed with my statement about incivility breeds incivility, but you're ascribing statements to me I did not make. Janasak is responsible for his own actions and words, but my experience tells me that people react differently when they feel aggrieved. I would estimate that I have regretted about 50% of my director votes these 25 years. I voted for 4 of the 6 current directors (excluding the Brown appointment and including Rogers) and strongly regret 2 of those votes and mildly regret 2 of those votes. What's happening here is no different than the tone in Washington and throughout this country. Leaders, nationally and locally, continue to divide this country for political power and victories. I've lived in OP for almost 25 years. John Viola is the best GM we have ever had regarding financial results. I certainly am not in favor of Janasak or any director questioning Viola's results or undermining him. |
