| Your vote alone would not have changed the outcome. However, had you voted YES, it would have placed Horn in the very uncomfortable position of having to be totally responsible for denying the appointment of someone whose Name should not even have been up for a vote without her appointment. I do not believe Horn complied with the bylaws. As president she is the only one authorized to actually appoint but must have the consent of the board for her appointments. I did not hear Horn appoint anyone. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: again…my vote would not have made a difference in either case. It was obvious from the application, that the chair thought Mr. Brown would be an outstanding addition to the Committee. Committee assignments are not popularity contests. |
