For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The "misstatement" concerning the proposed referendum's limits on board spending projects was first voiced by Perrone in a public meeting. There was immediate pushback by members of this forum. Despite this, the same "misstatement" was contained in the board's supporting information enclosed with the referendum ballot. Still, no public discussion or motion to disavow by board members. Then, a month or more of advertisements running in the local papers which contained the same "misstatement". This, in spite of the fact that Gene took the time to appear before the board and patiently explain the facts. I felt, at the time, that the entire board should have resigned. I haven't changed my opinion. |
