Hi Tom. Indeed, OPA received Covid funds. Just over $1 million. Discussed here to the tune of 1000 or more posts.
As for any concerns you have about state law and overcharging and reserve limits, OPA has no concerns or risks in that regard as far as I am aware. That said, I would be interested in any reference you can provide to specific laws in that regard. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe. The state requires specific rules as to charging fees. - the law:rules are designed to prevent HOA ‘s from over charging and holding excessive reserves Etc it factors into how the assessment fees are calculated along with HOA needs , functions, projects , general administrative, and appropriate reserves - Hats off to GM and our employees for holding the line during the last 2.years of COVID - Joe- I don’t have details but I believe OP received COVID assistance funds - not sure how much |
