Are you thinking that Lakernick put himself up for that committee assignment knowing that he would be turned down and that would give him more political traction?? Too clever by half. He would have to think that it would go all the way to a board vote. He could have been turned down before it got that far. Maybe some traction but not the traction/attraction he's getting now. Makes schoolyard seem sophisticated by comparison
