Yes. The alternative to having 3 years of ownership to run for the board with one year on a committee was submitted by Daley .. it was withdrawn. I stated at the early morning meeting
about the bylaws that appointments to committee membership to be eligible to run for the board was like a “ good olde boys club “ you got to be one of the favorites to be appointed to committee s well dang I was right. The board is doing the same thing they did back in September while a lot of folks are excited about the reduction in annual assessments will go down as an indicator that the board is doing a great job is crap. Our GM and front office did that.. also the state laws on HOA’s fees factors in on this as well. stu’s request to be on a committee is to be commended. He is trying to help. He had 1511people vote for him for his run for the board . That is a serious amount of support from the community. Almost 1/3 of all votes cast - what occurred with denying Stu a position on a committee is unacceptable- Gutless political hacks -- voting for or against or abstention/ it’s all eye wash. The board members except for two don’t want Stu involved at all. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Isn't one of the proposed bylaw requirements to have served on a committee to be eligible to run for the Board? Thought I saw something to that effect. |
