I am aware of one situation where the committee chair refused to sign an application. In that situation the Board liaison signed the application but the Board President declined to forward it for any further consideration.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: At the board level or chair level or both? Do you know? I know of no rejections at the chair level, but certainly might be some. I do not believe, however, that the committee chair has the authority to reject applications outright. Only the board. |
