OPA is not a condo association, with some minor exceptions, and those are handled by separate condo association entities in addition to the OPA HOA, I believe.
I don't think anyone has the slightest idea of the massive cost and required changes in DRs it might take to provide property maintenance on all properties in OP. These calls for doing so, or even looking into it, are ridiculous. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When we stayed with friends in their condo in a very upscale neighborhood just west of Bradenton Fl I was impressed with what their HOA fees included: Water & Sewage Bill, Cable Bill, Area WiFi, all lawn care including regular weeding and fertilizers, driveway & sidewalk maintenance, all exterior building maintenance including painting, roof and air conditioning repair. And of course common area maintenance such as park areas, roads, lighting, swimming pools and insurance. Their cost was just over $4000 per year, but the cost of cable and water is over $3600 per year. Seems to me like a damned good deal. |
